Box Clever and St Edmund’s Catholic School celebrates creativity across the curriculum with '6' unique events from Thursday 17 June – Thursday 24 June.

Artists from Box Clever have been working with teachers and pupils from the school to create 6 mini theatrical events, which will completely transform and bring alive different locations within the school.

The 6 events will consist of an extraordinary theatrical assembly for the whole school, a specially created space inspired by the sea, an amazing sensory installation in the Food Science Lab, the filming of a song specially composed for the project, a spectacular outdoor performance on the School Playground and an awards ceremony with a difference with a mix of dance, drama and art.

The events are a collaborations between the Box Clever Artistic team, a teacher and students from one of the following curriculum areas - Citizenship, PE, Design & Food Technology, Geography, Textiles and English. The Le Marathon des Anneaux hip hop dance group from Lille France will also be taking part in one of the events, as will year 6 Pupils from St Joseph’s Primary School.

The project aims to enrich school life by making the most of creativity within the curriculum, while developing the students’ and teachers’ potential, ambition and imagination.
