Model 3: Anatomy of Creativity

With the support of Kent Creative Partnerships, ‘Model 3’ follows the success of ‘6’ which was created in partnership with St Edmund’s Catholic School in 2004. Following a period of research and development, BOX CLEVER artists have worked with staff at Herne Bay High School and Clarendon House Grammar School from January 2005 onwards.

The project aimed to extend, develop and evaluate creative strategies and approaches to the curriculum. Working closely with key teachers within both schools, Box Clever Artists explored ways in which creative processes could be used to enhance teaching practices within the classroom. It is hoped that by focusing on teachers in this way that ‘Model 3’ will leave a legacy of experience with the participating schools. In total 1149 students in 51 lessons participated in the project.
